For the past 10 years Michelle’s travelling companion has been her beloved dog Jack. Jack has even flown from Ottawa to Nanaimo when Michelle moved to Vancouver Island two years ago; after several surgeries and mobility issues due to degenerative arthritis left her unable to cope with the amount of ice and snow the east suffers from.
An advocate for inclusive travel and experiences Michelle works as Outreach Coordinator for Travel For All, developing relationships and partnerships with companies, organizations and foundations to maximize their fundraising efforts.
Graham was born in Liverpool, England; also home to the Beatles. Liverpool was home until 1992 at which time he moved to Nanaimo, British Columbia. Travel has been been part of life since childhood. Graham has enjoyed over 20 cruises that have taken him around the world.
In 2014, Graham was diagnosed with cancer. At that time, his right leg was removed. Recovery was definitely a challenge, but it hasn’t slowed him down one little bit. He’s been on a number of cruises since then, and now volunteers his time to serve as a mentor for other amputees. His hope is to make other people’s cruise dreams come true.
Graham is accredited with all major cruise lines.
