The Tsukiji Outer Market is a famous wholesale market, which is representative of Japan. It is said to be the largest comprehensive market in the world. It is near busy Ginza which is a different feature from other markets. Various kinds of Japanese traditional food are traded at reasonable prices. The seafood especially is good. Many people visit there to have breakfast because the restaurants near it are open from early in the morning. The Tsukiji Outer Market is so busy with so many trucks and scooters and, the aisles are sometimes narrow that it can be a little dangerous. However, you can use a wheelchair in the market if you are accompanied by someone.
Our founder, Tarita Davenock knows disability firsthand and wants to show everyone that the world can still ‘be their oyster’. The truth is that the world is not perfectly accessible, there are still bumps in the road… What is spectacular about the world is that it was made to be seen by everyone; regardless of your mobility or ability. We work with a select group of suppliers with the same passions as ours. Choose where and when, and we will work hard at creating what your mind envisions…
