Argentina is for everyone
Argentina is a massive South American nation with terrain encompassing Andes mountains, glacial lakes and Pampas grassland; the traditional grazing ground of its famed beef cattle. The country is famous for tango dance and music. Its big, cosmopolitan capital, Buenos Aires, is centered on the Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately 19th-century buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace.
Tour: Buenos Aires, Argentina: “The Eclectic Experience”
For half a day we will explore the city, cosmopolitan and eclectic, which never ceases to amaze with its remarkable contrasts. Our hotel will be the starting point for discovering wide avenues that highlight the city. July 9 street, with its multiple lanes that make it the widest in the world is pierced by the symbol of the city, the Obelisk.
Alpine Style: San Carlos de Bariloche
We take the natural lakes crossing to the iconic Bariloche city, located in the foothills of the Andes. It is within the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Its Alpine-style architecture, chocolate shops, boutiques and great restaurants invite you to hang out in the city center between trekking, hiking and skiing excursions.
Ushuaia: Pioneer Settlements
In the morning we have an excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park, some 50 kilometers, or 4 hours from Punta Arenas. At 12 kilometers west of Ushuaia we enter the National Park. It contains 63000 hectares where lenga trees (Nothofagus pumilio), cherry trees, ñires (Nothofagus antarctica), calafates, notros (Embothrium coccineum) (Embothrium coccineum), flowers like orchids, violets and senecios (Asteraceae) can be seen.
Puerto Madryn: Penguin Encounter
We will leave Puerto Madryn in the morning to visit the largest Magellan´s penguins reserve. Imagine walking around through more than half million penguins. This is what we are going to do when we arrive to Punta Tombo. We have plenty of time to learn about their habitat and their way of life.
Our founder, Tarita Davenock knows disability firsthand and wants to show everyone that the world can still ‘be their oyster’. Let her help you get to Argentina!
The truth is that the world is not perfectly accessible, there are still bumps in the road… What is spectacular about the world is that it was made to be seen by everyone; regardless of your mobility or ability. We work with a select group of suppliers with the same passions as ours. Choose where and when, and we will work hard at creating what your mind envisions…
